Caractérisation des terminaux de chaudières ventouse

Pour la certification d'une chaudière étanche, il est nécessaire de connaître les caractéristiques aérauliques (pertes de charge et recirculation) du terminal. Fin 2003, le CETIAT a repris l'installation d'essais de terminaux de chaudières étanches de Gaz de France. La présente étude a permis de prendre en main cette installation d'essais de terminaux (comparaison entre des résultats déjà obtenus par Gaz de France et des résultats CETIAT), puis de définir et valider une démarche de caractérisation du terminal dans d'autres conditions que celles des essais, en utilisant la simulation numérique des écoulements.

Title: Room sealed boiler terminal characterisation
Abstract: For certification of a room sealed boiler, the aerodynamic characteristics (pressure drop and recirculation) of the terminal have to be known. At the end of 2003, CETIAT took over the test facility for room sealed boiler terminals of Gaz de France. The current study allowed taking control of this terminal test installation (comparison between results already obtained by Gaz de France and CETIAT results) and then to define and validate a characterization approach for the terminal under conditions other than those of the tests, using numerical flow simulation.
